About the podcast

A look behind the marketing that shapes culture.

Is This Marketing? is a podcast uncovering the psychology, strategy, chaos, and creative decisions behind the marketing that shapes culture. Hosted by Karleigh Pearson, founder of Lucky Boy Agency, it explores how brands really grow, why people buy, and the hidden mechanics inside ads, trends, campaigns, and product placements.

Each month, Karleigh interviews marketers, founders, and leaders while breaking down trending ads, controversial campaigns, and unexpected lessons from everyday moments.

Is This Marketing? treats every campaign, jingle, package, and cultural moment as a decision someone made on purpose. The show pulls those decisions apart so the strategy behind the surface becomes visible, for marketers, founders, and anyone trying to work out why a brand suddenly feels unavoidable.

This podcast will change the way you look at the world. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
