Brand design for professional services firms, made in Collingwood.
Identity work for Melbourne law, finance, accounting, consulting, and advisory firms. Designed to look credible in front of enterprise buyers, designed to ship through compliance.
Brand design for considered buyers
Identity that reads competent in the room you are not in.
A Collingwood brand design studio for professional services firms that get researched before they get called.
Lucky Boy is a brand and design studio on Rokeby Street, Collingwood. A meaningful share of our brand work is for professional services firms: financial advisors, fund managers, commercial law, consulting, and corporate finance. Buyers in those categories research before they call, and the brand is doing trust-building work months before anyone picks up the phone.
That changes how we design. Positioning is sharper, photography is people-led, the artefacts that matter most are the quiet ones (capability statements, partner profiles, case studies), and the system is built to ship through compliance review without redesign every quarter.
What's included
Six things a professional services brand build ships.
Strategy, identity, guidelines, templates, photography, and the compliance-aware artwork your legal team will actually approve.
- 01Positioning for considered buyersPositioning built for buyers who research before they call. Specificity over slogans, proof over promise, restraint over volume.
- 02Identity systems that read seriousLogo, palette, typography, and motion principles that signal expertise without looking like a 1990s law firm. Considered, not corporate.
- 03Brand guidelines for distributed teamsWorking guidelines documents your associates, BD, and marketing team can use without designer supervision. Templates first, exceptions second.
- 04Pitch and proposal templatesBranded pitch decks, proposal templates, capability statements, and tender response shells. The collateral that wins the work, designed once and reusable.
- 05Photography and partner portraitsPhotography direction and shoot styling for partner portraits, office shots, and case study imagery. Brief and grade so the look stays consistent across years.
- 06Compliance-aware artworkFor regulated firms (financial services, legal, advisory) we set up disclaimer specs, regulatory footers, and approval-ready master files. Compliance is in the system, not bolted on.

Why Collingwood
A studio that understands considered B2B.
Our studio is on Rokeby Street, Collingwood. The team has shipped brand work for financial advisory, funds management, and commercial construction. The patterns carry across professional services categories: positioning that holds up to scrutiny, identity that signals expertise without looking dated, and artwork built so compliance can sign off without a redesign every quarter.
Collingwood is a five-minute walk from Victoria Park station and a 10-minute drive from the CBD. Easy for partners and senior leaders to come in for a workshop and get back to chambers or the office in time for the next meeting.
How we start
From first call to first project, in three steps.
No long forms, no qualifying calls with someone who is not going to do the work. You speak directly with the team who will run your project.
01
A 30-minute scoping call.
You tell us what you are trying to move (a launch, a brand refresh, a revenue target). We tell you whether we are the right agency for it. If we are not, we tell you who is.
02
A fixed-fee proposal.
Inside a week you get a written scope with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price. Nothing hourly, nothing surprise. If you want to swap something out, we re-scope before anyone signs anything.
03
Kickoff and ship.
Project work usually starts inside two weeks. Retainers start at the top of the following month. Your project lead is in the studio on Rokeby Street and you can call them directly.

What professional services brands have done.

Straight from the clients.
A few words from the people we work with.
What began as an initial social media management arrangement has grown and flourished into something far greater.
I don't know whether to be mad that you made me cry for three minutes or to be impressed that you've created something even more special than we imagined. It's absolutely beautiful, a truly special legacy.
I feel like the luckiest girl ever to have found Lucky Boy Agency at a pivotal point in my business. The team have rebranded our company with a fresh, modern, authentically 'us' look.
We recently worked with Karleigh and the team at Lucky Boy Agency on a shoot for Sommerstone Property Group, producing around 40 videos. We couldn't be happier with how it all came together.
Karleigh and Jake have been incredible bringing our brand to life. When we were searching for an agency, Karleigh took the time to understand our business, our goals, and put together a bespoke plan.
An absolute delight to work with Karleigh and the team at Lucky Boy Agency. Our TVC delivered on time and to budget. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Lucky Boy Agency. From start to finish, the team absolutely nailed it. The branding and website they created for us have been a total game-changer.
We recently used Lucky Boy for some videography and had an amazing experience from start to finish.
Karleigh and Jake are an amazing duo. I'm so happy we found each other. We have been working together for the past couple of years and they have helped the business grow a lot.
If I could give 10 stars I would. The Lucky Boy team are incredible and very professional. They took my website to a whole new level and created a hero video that is a true representation of my brand and is something I will cherish forever.
I've used Lucky Boy for a number of projects. They've always been quick to respond, they're easy going, and they exceed expectations. Few agencies tick all three boxes. I highly recommend them for video, social media, or content work.
They did a fantastic job helping us produce a short promo video for use on our website. The whole process was seamless and stress free for us.
Good to know
Professional services branding, the questions buyers actually ask.
What is different about brand design for a professional services firm?
The buyer is researched, the sale is considered, and the brand is doing trust-building work months before a meeting is booked. That changes everything: positioning is sharper, photography is people-led not product-led, the messaging tone is restrained, and the artefacts that matter most are the ones a buyer reads in private (capability statement, partner profile, case study). Consumer brand patterns rarely translate. We design for the part of the buying journey nobody sees.
How much does a brand build for a professional services firm cost?
Most professional services rebrands sit in the $15,000 to $40,000 range, depending on size, scope, and whether a new website is bundled in. Small to mid-size firms usually land at $15,000 to $25,000 for strategy, identity, guidelines, and a pitch template suite. Larger firms or full rebrands with website builds typically run $30,000 to $60,000+. Our Branding Package starts at $15,000 and Custom scopes from $25,000.
How long does a professional services rebrand take?
Eight to fourteen weeks for a strategy-led identity refresh and pitch template suite. Twelve to twenty weeks for a full rebrand with a new website. The longest phase is usually internal alignment, especially if the firm has a partnership structure with multiple sign-offs. Lock the approver list at kickoff and the timeline holds.
Do you understand financial services compliance?
Yes. We have done identity work for funds management, advisory, and corporate finance firms, and we know how to set up artwork that handles AFSL footers, regulatory disclaimers, and master files that go through legal review without requiring a redesign every quarter. We are not lawyers. We work alongside your compliance team and design the system to make their review easier, not harder.
Can you produce the photography too?
Yes. Partner portraits, office spaces, and case study photography are usually shot in the same engagement as the brand build, often on a single half-day. We do the styling, the shot list, and the post-production grade so the photography matches the identity system, not the photographer's house style.
Do you do the website as well, or just the brand?
Both. Most professional services rebrands ship better as a brand-and-website build, because the new identity needs the new site to launch into. Custom scopes that bundle brand and website start from $25,000 and run through a single project plan, not two parallel engagements.
Can you work with our internal marketing team?
Always. Most professional services firms have a marketing manager or BD lead who runs day-to-day comms. Our brand work is built to hand over: working guidelines, template libraries, and a 30-minute training session so the internal team can extend the brand without needing us in the room. We are happy to stay on a retainer for ongoing work, but the system is designed to function without one.
Have you worked with finance, accounting, or law firms specifically?
Yes. Recent professional services work includes Fraser & Partners (financial advisory), Vantage Asset Management (funds management), and Usher Group (commercial construction). The pattern repeats across legal, accounting, consulting, and advisory: positioning that holds up to scrutiny, identity that reads competent, and artwork that compliance can sign off without redesign.
