Director-led production

Video for considered B2B audiences.

A Collingwood video studio for Melbourne corporate, professional services, and enterprise brands.

Lucky Boy is a video production studio on Rokeby Street, Collingwood, working with Melbourne corporate, professional services, and B2B brands on the kind of video work that has to read considered to a researched buyer. Concept and script first, partner and exec interviews second, B-roll and culture coverage third, edit and grade fourth.

Most of our corporate clients are law firms, accounting practices, financial advisory firms, healthcare practices, and B2B SaaS that have outgrown founder-shot iPhone footage and need video that reads like the brand. What's included

Six things every corporate video engagement ships.

Concept on top, interviews and B-roll in the middle, edit and deliverables at the bottom. One team, one room, one director on the day.

Concept and scriptPre-production with the leadership team. Story, message hierarchy, and what the audience needs to walk away with. Locked before we book the crew.
  2. 02
Partner and exec interviewsTalking-head interviews shot in your office or our Collingwood studio. Director-led so the takes land conversational rather than corporate-stiff.
  3. 03
B-roll and culture coverageOffice, team, client interactions, day-in-the-life sequences. The footage that makes a corporate film feel like a real place rather than a stock library.
  4. 04

  5. 05

Why Collingwood

A video studio with the brand team in the next room.

Our studio is on Rokeby Street, Collingwood. Director, DOP, sound, edit, and grade all sit in the same space, alongside the brand and design team. That matters for corporate work because the visual system has to carry across motion, stills, and the brand identity it sits inside — stitched-together vendor relationships are how that consistency falls apart.

For Melbourne corporate clients, the studio is a 5 to 15 minute drive from the CBD, Southbank, Hawthorn, and the established east. Easy to get partners across for a shoot day or a screening, easy for our team to drop into your office for an on-site interview block.

How we start

From first call to first project, in three steps.

No long forms, no qualifying calls with someone who is not going to do the work. You speak directly with the team who will run your project.

  1. 01

    A 30-minute scoping call.

You tell us what you are trying to move (a launch, a brand refresh, a revenue target). We tell you whether we are the right agency for it. If we are not, we tell you who is.

  2. 02

    A fixed-fee proposal.

Inside a week you get a written scope with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price. Nothing hourly, nothing surprise. If you want to swap something out, we re-scope before anyone signs anything.

  3. 03

    Kickoff and ship.

Project work usually starts inside two weeks. Retainers start at the top of the following month. Your project lead is in the studio on Rokeby Street and you can call them directly.

Good to know

Corporate video in Melbourne, the questions buyers actually ask.

What is corporate video production?

Corporate video production is video work made for professional services, B2B, and enterprise audiences — brand films, partner and founder interviews, recruitment video, customer story films, internal communications, and conference content. Different from consumer video (which leans on product, lifestyle, and emotion) because the buyer is researched, the sale is considered, and the brand has to read credible to a sophisticated audience.

How much does a corporate video cost in Melbourne?

A corporate brand film in Melbourne typically runs $9,000 to $25,000 in 2026. The lower end is a one-day shoot with a small crew and a single hero deliverable; the upper end is a two-day shoot with multiple partner interviews, B-roll across two locations, and a hero film plus three to four cuts for LinkedIn and ABM campaigns. Founder talking-head shoots ship from $4,500 if scope is tight. Full pricing breakdown on our [video production cost Melbourne](/blog/video-production-cost-melbourne) post.

How long does corporate video production take?

Brief to first cut is usually four to eight weeks for a one-day talking-head or interview shoot. A multi-deliverable corporate brand film with two shoot days runs eight to twelve weeks end-to-end. The longest single phase is usually internal alignment — particularly for partnership-structured firms with multiple sign-offs. Lock the approver list at kickoff and the timeline holds.

Can you handle compliance review for financial services and legal video?

Yes. A meaningful share of our corporate work is for regulated firms — financial advisory, legal, healthcare. We build a workflow that fits inside your existing approval chain: titles and lower-thirds set up with regulatory disclaimers, hold-harmless agreements signed before talent appears on camera, and a compliance buffer in the post-production timeline so review does not delay delivery.

Do you shoot in our office or your studio?

Either, and most corporate shoots work best as a mix. Talking-head interviews in our Collingwood studio for clean controlled lighting; B-roll and culture coverage on-site at your office for authenticity. The crew packs to travel either way; the producer scopes the right balance at the brief.

Can you ghost-direct partners or executives who are uncomfortable on camera?

Yes, that is most of the value of a director-led corporate shoot. Most partners and executives are not natural on-camera talent. We use a quiet pre-shoot conversation, a teleprompter where appropriate, and a director who can prompt for naturalistic takes rather than scripted ones. The takes that land conversational are almost always the ones we set up to feel un-scripted.

What deliverables do we get from a corporate shoot?

A typical corporate brand film delivers: a 90-second to 2-minute hero film for the website, a 60-second LinkedIn cut, a 30-second paid-media cut, three to five short-form quote cuts for social, and the source footage organised by interview and B-roll for future reuse. Plus master files, captions, and platform-ready exports.

Will we own the footage and the final film?

Yes. All final deliverables, captions, and the organised source footage transfer to you on final invoice. Music licensing covers the platforms agreed at the brief. Talent rights cover the same. If you ever bring video in-house or move to a different agency, the asset library goes with you.
