Hospitality marketing, Melbourne

Marketing and social media for hospitality, venues, and drinks brands.

Ongoing social, content capture, community management, and paid campaigns for hotels, restaurants, bars, and food and drinks brands. The team that runs the channels for Hilton, Providore Global, and Capricorn Distilling, working Australia-wide from Collingwood.

Always-on content

We keep the feed full and the room busy.

A Collingwood agency that manages social and content for hospitality.

Lucky Boy runs ongoing social media and content for hospitality clients. We manage and grow the channels for Providore Global and Hilton Surfers Paradise, and run social, advertising, and content into a Shopify store for Capricorn Distilling Co.

The difference is that we shoot our own content. We are not reposting guest photos and chasing trends. We are in the venue and on the shoot capturing the real thing, then turning it into a pipeline that keeps the feed full, the bookings coming, and the product moving. What's included

Six things every hospitality marketing retainer ships.

Management and content at the core, paid and campaigns around the edges, reporting tied to bookings and sales at the end of every month.

  1. 01
Always-on social managementPlanning, scheduling, posting, and managing the channels so they stay alive between campaigns. Instagram and TikTok lead for hospitality, with Facebook and others where your guests actually are. The day-to-day we run for Providore, Hilton, and Capricorn.
  2. 02
Content capture that makes people hungryWe shoot the food, the venue, the pour, and the people, then cut them into scroll-stopping content. The same shoot days feed the long-form video and the photography library, so the feed never runs dry.
  3. 03
Community managementHospitality is a reputation business and the conversation happens in the comments, DMs, tags, and reviews. We manage it, surface the best guest content, and keep the brand voice warm and consistent.
  4. 04
Paid social and advertisingCampaigns built for hospitality goals: bookings, covers, event tickets, and online sales. The advertising we run for Hilton and Capricorn, targeted and tracked against a number that matters, not vanity reach.
  5. 05
Campaigns and launchesCoordinated pushes around seasonal menus, events, new products, and openings. The campaign work that turns a quiet Tuesday or a new release into a reason to come in or buy.
  6. 06
Reporting you can act onMonthly reporting in plain language: what we posted, what worked, what it drove, and what we are changing next month. Tied to bookings, sales, and covers, not a dashboard nobody reads.

Why Collingwood

One team for content, social, and the channels.

Our studio is on Rokeby Street, Collingwood, in the middle of one of the best food and drink neighbourhoods in the country. The social team sits next to the video and photography teams, so the people capturing the content are the same people running the channels.

We work with hospitality businesses Australia-wide, from Melbourne venues to coastal hotels and regional distilleries. The content gets captured on site, then planned, scheduled, and managed from the studio so the channels never go quiet between shoots.

How we start

From first call to first project, in three steps.

No long forms, no qualifying calls with someone who is not going to do the work. You speak directly with the team who will run your project.

  1. 01

    A 30-minute scoping call.

You tell us what you are trying to move (a launch, a brand refresh, a revenue target). We tell you whether we are the right agency for it. If we are not, we tell you who is.

  2. 02

    A fixed-fee proposal.

Inside a week you get a written scope with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price. Nothing hourly, nothing surprise. If you want to swap something out, we re-scope before anyone signs anything.

  3. 03

    Kickoff and ship.

Project work usually starts inside two weeks. Retainers start at the top of the following month. Your project lead is in the studio on Rokeby Street and you can call them directly.

Good to know

Hospitality marketing in Melbourne, the questions venues actually ask.

What does hospitality marketing involve?

For hospitality it is usually a mix of ongoing social media management, content capture, community management, and paid campaigns, all built around the food, the venue, and the experience. We run this for Hilton Surfers Paradise, Providore Global, and Capricorn Distilling Co, capturing content, managing the channels, and running advertising that drives bookings and sales.

How much does hospitality marketing cost?

Ongoing social and content management for a hospitality business typically runs as a monthly retainer from around $2,000 to $6,500 in 2026, depending on how many channels, how much original content per month, and whether paid campaigns are in scope. One-off campaigns and launches are quoted per project. Full breakdown on our marketing agency cost Melbourne post.

Which platforms work for hospitality?

Instagram and TikTok do most of the heavy lifting for venues, restaurants, and drinks brands, because hospitality is visual and discovery happens on the feed. Facebook still matters for events and an older audience, and for drinks brands with e-commerce, paid social and Google drive online sales. We run the channels your actual guests and customers use, not all of them for the sake of it.

Do you create the content or just manage the posting?

We create it. That is the point. We shoot the food, venue, and product ourselves, then cut it into feed-ready content. A reposted guest photo and a caption is not a strategy. People decide where to eat and what to buy on how good it looks, which is exactly what our hospitality video and photography are set up to capture.

Can you drive bookings and online sales, not just followers?

Yes, that is the goal. For Hilton the work drives awareness and bookings; for Capricorn we run advertising into a Shopify store to drive online sales. We build campaigns tied to covers, bookings, event tickets, and revenue, and we report against those numbers rather than reach for its own sake.

Do you also do video and photography for hospitality?

Yes, and it works best together. The social program is fed by our hospitality video production and hospitality photography, and points at a hospitality website or Shopify store built to convert. Our hospitality clients run multiple services with us as one program, which is what keeps the brand consistent and the content pipeline full.
