mecwacare partnered with Lucky Boy Agency to produce its brand film. A Victorian not-for-profit caring for people since 1959, mecwacare now supports more than 20,000 people across the state, and the brief was to show that without explaining services. Over two shoot days we filmed three lives in three settings: Lillian at home in Diamond Creek with her son Kelvin, Savas and Georgia in residential care at John Hood Terrace, and Tim and Diana in retirement living at Robin Syme, with CEO Anne McCormack framing the story at either end. We wrote the structure and the interviews, shot the film and the photography, and cut the brand film and a 60 second version for social.

From mecwacare
“A beautiful brand video that captures exactly what we hoped for and that we're incredibly proud of.”

We had an amazing experience producing our brand video with Lucky Boy.
From the get-go we were impressed with their thoughtful approach, flexibility, professionalism and honesty. It was important for us to partner with an agency that shared our values and that absolutely came across throughout the process.
The team was always so warm and respectful in their interactions with our interviewees, helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera and allowing their personalities to shine through!
Karleigh is genuinely a shining star, alongside her incredible team of Jake, Luke, Emma and Rosie. They brought so much care to the project and the result is a beautiful brand video that captures exactly what we hoped for and that we're incredibly proud of.
Thanks again, Lucky Boy team!
