Collingwood, Melbourne
A social media agency in Collingwood, content systems that compound.
Content strategy, shoot days, community, and paid amplification across the channels your audience actually lives in. Shot in our Collingwood studio, edited in-house, posted by the same team that brought you the brand.
Social and content
Social that earns its place, made in one studio.
Shoot, edit, post, amplify, repeat.
Lucky Boy is a social and content studio on Rokeby Street, Collingwood. We do social the way it actually works: a shoot day produces a month of content, the calendar moves it through the channel, community management keeps the audience warm, and paid social scales the posts that earn the impressions.
Three published retainers, from $2,500 per month at the light end up to $5,000 per month for the full integrated rhythm. Paid social management adds from $1,500 per month plus the ad spend. Pricing is on /content-packages so you can compare us against any Melbourne social agency before the call.

Recent social work
Social made in the Collingwood studio.
Why Collingwood
A social studio with the photographers in the same room.
Our studio is on Rokeby Street, Collingwood. Two photo bays, an edit suite, a podcast booth, and the strategy and design team in the same room. That means a shoot day briefed on Monday morning is on a feed by Tuesday afternoon.
For social, the speed and proximity matter more than for almost any other discipline. The brands that win on social are the ones that can produce in-week, react to what is happening in the culture, and ship next-day creative when something lands. That is what a co-located in-house studio is for.
How we start
From first call to first project, in three steps.
No long forms, no qualifying calls with someone who is not going to do the work. You speak directly with the team who will run your project.
01
A 30-minute scoping call.
You tell us what you are trying to move (a launch, a brand refresh, a revenue target). We tell you whether we are the right agency for it. If we are not, we tell you who is.
02
A fixed-fee proposal.
Inside a week you get a written scope with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price. Nothing hourly, nothing surprise. If you want to swap something out, we re-scope before anyone signs anything.
03
Kickoff and ship.
Project work usually starts inside two weeks. Retainers start at the top of the following month. Your project lead is in the studio on Rokeby Street and you can call them directly.

What the social work has done.

Straight from the clients.
A few words from the people we work with.
What began as an initial social media management arrangement has grown and flourished into something far greater.
I don't know whether to be mad that you made me cry for three minutes or to be impressed that you've created something even more special than we imagined. It's absolutely beautiful, a truly special legacy.
I feel like the luckiest girl ever to have found Lucky Boy Agency at a pivotal point in my business. The team have rebranded our company with a fresh, modern, authentically 'us' look.
We recently worked with Karleigh and the team at Lucky Boy Agency on a shoot for Sommerstone Property Group, producing around 40 videos. We couldn't be happier with how it all came together.
Karleigh and Jake have been incredible bringing our brand to life. When we were searching for an agency, Karleigh took the time to understand our business, our goals, and put together a bespoke plan.
An absolute delight to work with Karleigh and the team at Lucky Boy Agency. Our TVC delivered on time and to budget. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Lucky Boy Agency. From start to finish, the team absolutely nailed it. The branding and website they created for us have been a total game-changer.
We recently used Lucky Boy for some videography and had an amazing experience from start to finish.
Karleigh and Jake are an amazing duo. I'm so happy we found each other. We have been working together for the past couple of years and they have helped the business grow a lot.
If I could give 10 stars I would. The Lucky Boy team are incredible and very professional. They took my website to a whole new level and created a hero video that is a true representation of my brand and is something I will cherish forever.
I've used Lucky Boy for a number of projects. They've always been quick to respond, they're easy going, and they exceed expectations. Few agencies tick all three boxes. I highly recommend them for video, social media, or content work.
They did a fantastic job helping us produce a short promo video for use on our website. The whole process was seamless and stress free for us.
Good to know
Social media, the questions buyers actually ask.
Do you create the content or just manage posting?
Both, and we recommend you take the both. The reason social management as a standalone service rarely works is that the people scheduling posts have no relationship with the photographer, the editor, or the brand. We shoot the content (photo, video, social-first creative), schedule it, manage replies and DMs, and report. Or you brief us and we just execute on what you've supplied. Most of our retainer clients pick the integrated option because the content rhythm is the bottleneck on every brand's social channel.
How much does social media management cost in Melbourne?
Three published tiers. Quarterly Build at $3,500 per month: one shoot day per quarter, ~25 short-form videos, ~10 photo posts, and ~5 graphics per shoot, three posts a week on one channel, community management, monthly report. Monthly Rhythm at $5,000 per month: one shoot day per month, the same asset volume each shoot, seven posts a week, full community, monthly report + strategy review. Custom (lighter scope) from $2,500 per month for shoot-only or community-only retainers. Add Meta and Google ads management from $1,500 per month plus the ad spend.
How often should we post?
Depends on the platform, the audience, and the asset bank. Three strong posts a week beats seven forgettable ones every time. We start with a content audit and work backward from what the audience actually engages with on your channels. Most brands sit at 3 to 7 posts a week per channel, with Reels and Stories layered on top of the static cadence. The Quarterly Build tier sits at 3 a week, the Monthly Rhythm tier at 7 a week.
Can you do TikTok and Reels?
Yes, and we shoot for platform first, not for a deck. Vertical 9:16, paced for the first two seconds, captions burned in, audio designed to read silent (most social video on mobile plays muted). Talent direction, voiceover, motion graphics, and platform-native editing are all in-house. We do not repurpose a 30-second TVC into a Reel and call it done.
Do you handle paid ads as well as organic?
Yes. Paid social on Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn is how we measure and scale what works on organic. The best-performing organic posts often become the highest-ROAS paid creative. Paid management runs from $1,500 per month plus ad spend. Minimum ad spend we recommend is around $2,000 per month, below that the management fee outweighs the campaign upside.
How do you measure social media performance?
Three layers. Engagement (reach, saves, shares, comments) for brand-build channels. Funnel (link clicks, profile visits, follows-to-followers, DM opens) for consideration. Conversion (cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, qualified-lead volume) for paid social. We report monthly with what is working, what to test next, and where to reallocate the budget. Quarterly strategy review with a real human in the room, not just a deck.
How fast can you start?
Project work, usually inside two weeks. Retainers start at the top of the following month so we can run a proper kickoff: brand audit, audience documentation, content pillars locked, first shoot day scheduled. The fastest social retainer we've launched is two weeks from contract to first post, but the work was better when we had a month's runway.
Can we keep ownership of the content?
Yes. Everything we shoot for you is yours, in the agreed formats, with full rights for the platforms agreed up front. You get the source files (RAW or unedited masters on request) on handover. If you ever move agencies or bring it in-house, the asset library goes with you.
